Elders and Family,
I hope you are all doing well and your families are happy and healthy! Thanks to all those that helped at the Stake Conference cleaning assignment. That was very much appreciated. I’ve added at the tail end of the bulletin a new section for Employment Opportunities. Please check them out if needed. Also if you wouldn’t mind just sending me any employment opportunities you run into I’ll email them out weekly.
Keep in mind that this Thursday there is a Provident Living Activity on Sprouting. It is at the church at 7:00 PM.
2010 EQ Family Focus: This year the Elders Quorum Presidency will be emphasizing Family Home Evening, Fathers Interviews, and Family Councils. We will be having some activities and visits that center around these with you and your family. I’d like to know if you and your family have the Church’s Family Home Evening Manual? Please let me know. I may just grab some for our quorum to give out. Here is a good site for you to review for FHE suggestions:

- The Salt Lake City Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) had two non-agent (known within the organization as "support employee") job vacancies. The deadline for resume's is COB Friday, February 26, 2010. This is an unusual way for the FBI to post for job openings. Usually, we must use the website run by Washington, D.C. But, because it has become so difficult for the FBI to find qualified individuals that don't have drug use or a criminal history, in their background, permission has been given to our Division to post this as a "Direct Hire" opportunity (talk about a great opportunity for an LDS temple recommend holder!). Applicants should be aware that, no matter what kind of a security clearance they've had before, the FBI will reinvestigate. Do not expect a job immediately. The background check for qualified applicants can take at least 6 months. Since our country is at war, these are wartime precautions that are taking so long.
Now, for the job description.
Two (2) SSC/SST positions (similar to a secretary (males & females work these jobs) for a squad of agents)
Duties:
1. Records/File Management Technical Support
2. Telecommunications/Investigation Automation Support
3. Office Management Support
4. Operations Security Support
All applicants must have at least six months of generalized experience. Generalized experience is performing clerical or office work, such as duplicating documents, processing/delivering mail, front office secretary coverage, switchboard coverage, excorting non-cleared personnel, basic recordkeeping, reporting, and informational duties including compiling, maintaining, updating data, lists and reports in support of an organization's operations.
Resume's may be e-mailed directly to SAS Trudy Grigsby, Trudy.Grigsby@ic.fbi.gov
If you have any employment needs please contact our Ward Employment Specialist Brother Jim Staker or a member of the Elders Quorum Presidency.
