Bulletin June 24, 2009

Elders and family,

This is a weekly bulletin for the Elders Quorum members and their families. I wanted to make sure that you are getting up to date information and have a way to access it whenever you need it. I am hoping by doing this it will tighten up our lines of communication and also you’ll be able to plan for activities and such in the ward or in the community. If you have any great ideas please let me know and I’ll add them to this communication. I’d also like to recommend that you use this in your family councils during planning so you are able to come to as many ward activities as possible.

Also I’m trying to get the most up to date contact information for you and your family. Would you please reply with your home phone, cellular (you and your spouse), and email address (preference, yet that you actually check)? I’ll be using these to do this update and also to do emergency updates so we all can be notified in the event that we have to call the quorum and its families into action.

I’d like to do spotlights and updates (medical, etc.) as well as we move forward. For instance Elder Nick Jensen just has his appendix out. He is doing well now and returns from his mission on July 7th. I’ll be doing a blog for our Elders Quorum. The posts will be these weekly updates. You can catch them through email and or the blog. Any information I put up on the blog or in email that is personal I’ll ask you about first.
